Outdoor Emergency Care (OEC)
This is the fundamental course that all patrollers take in order to become trained to the standards set by the NSP. We train in all outdoor emergencies that you can think of - trauma, medical emergencies, weather related emergencies. Click here to have a sneak peak at us training in action…
Basic Life Support (CPR + AED)
All ski and bike patrollers must be current in their basic life support training. This training includes the ABCs of life-support, infant and adult resuscitation and the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Click here for more info.
Outdoor Emergency Transportation (OET)
If we need to transport a patient down off the hill we will use a toboggan and a combination of a patroller in the horns, and perhaps a snow mobile. Click here to read about how we train in OET.
